Varicose Vein Patient A while ago I noticed the veins in my right leg needed attention, so I went to see Dr. Greuner for a consult and he told me about a relatively new procedure called radiofrequency ablation that would take care of my varicose veins. Sclerotherapy Patient I can’t say enough about Dr. Greuner and NYC Surgical Associates! Dr. Greuner perfomed several VNUS Closure surgeries on me, along with sclerotherapy, and the results have been wonderful! My legs look and feel 100 times better and there’s virtually no scarring. With the minimally invasive surgery he practices, there are just a couple of little marks that look like they could be freckles. Vein Surgery Patient I have been seeing Dr. Greuner for vein problems. He is very good about explaining the procedures and especially with follow-up. I had 2 previous surgeries for the same thing, but those Staten Island doctors did not follow up and really didn’t care whether the job was done right or not. Spider Vein Patient First to note is I did my research, on what to expect, as well as research on the doctors from vitals and ratemds. Dr. Greuner has major accolades as a vascular surgeon. As noted, the office was very clean and the front staff was very pleasant. I did not have to wait long to meet with Dr. Greuner. Dr. Greuner was very efficient and did the solution injection quickly (not a big needle fan) and then started with the wand, always asking me how I was doing, being very precise, and chatted with me to help get my mind off of what felt like little pin pricks.
